Eric MetaxasEric Metaxas (BA, Yale University) liberally spices humor with sophisticated presentations of Christian faith. Moderator of Socrates in the City (Manhattan, NYC), he is the author of many books, including Amazing Grace: William Wilberforce and the Heroic Campaign to End Slavery (2007) and Bonhoeffer (2010). He has appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, First Things, and numerous national TV/radio talk programs.


Carol Lee HamrinDr. Carol Lee Hamrin (PhD, University of Wisconsin) co-edited, with Stacey Bieler, the three-volume series Salt and Light: Lives of Faith that Shaped Modern China (2009-2010), as well other volumes like God and Caesar in China (2004) and Decision-Making in Deng’s China (1995). A former US State Department China specialist, she is a Research Professor at George Mason University and Senior Associate with the Global China Center.


Carol Lee HamrinDarrow Miller (Saturday morning) is the Co-Founder of Disciple Nations Alliance. A sought-after international speaker, he is the author of numerous books, including Discipling Nations: The Power of Truth to Transform Cultures (1998) and LifeWork: A Biblical Theology for What You Do Every Day (2009). His lecture will be based on a third book, Nurturing the Nations: Reclaiming the Dignity of Women in Building Healthy Cultures (2008).
